Dans le contexte des Organisation des Nations unies une résolution du Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies est une décision impérative prise ou approuvée par le Conseil de sécurité des Nations unies de l'Organisation des Nations unies, ou encore une Résolution de l'Assemblée générale des Nations unies est une décision votée par l'assemblée générale des Nations unies.
