Le Bank Charter Act est une loi britannique très importante dans l'histoire bancaire mondiale, régulant l'activité bancaire en Angleterre dans la première moitié du XIXe siècle. Elle se décline en trois versions successives, 1826, 1833 et 1844, visant toutes les trois à limiter l'impact des crises bancaires et autres paniques financières.
