Those with lazy, underdeveloped or squint eye will subconsciously compensate by using these depth cues. (See Depth Cues.) Cerebral problems Tests have shown that our ability to calculate and distinguish 3D information in what we see around us is constructed in our brains in the first few months of our lives. Some people with ophthalmic problems in early infancy may never be able to see 3D, even if the ophthalmic problem itself is cured in later life. In some milder cases, careful practice will allow such people to see 3D movies and video. In severe cases those people may never be able to understand 3D moves and video....

D "Producers who have tried solid state like the fact that the methodology is akin to shooting film," says Owen Tyler, operations director at Soho post house Evolutions. "It forces them to be more disciplined about what they are shooting. With DV, people bring in hundreds of hours of media -- taking up costly and unnecessary amounts of time and storage. Solid state means being a bit more cerebral in terms of what you record." For example, after recording 50 minutes of 35Mb/s, users can review clips in the camcorder or when plugged into a laptop and either delete clips or select the best takes to transfer using the PMW-EX1's clip browse software. "The editorial decision-making process begins in the field," notes Tyler. The PMW-EX1 is equipped with two card slots allowing an operator to take 2x16GB cards and achieve over two hours of recording time. "Or you can continually swap SxS PRO...

Since 1998 in Romania more than 800 renal transplants, about 40 liver transplants and more than 20 heart transplants have been carried out. Currently, about 1300 patients are waiting to receive an organ for transplantation. Statistics show that in Romania only a few transplants are carried out using organs from dead donors. For instance, in 2005, in Romania 19 renal transplants using organs harvested from cerebral dead patients have been carried out. This is a small number when compared with a number of 168 renal transplants with organs harvested from living donors. The rate of refusal for organ donation coming from the families of the patients suffering from cerebral death is considered to be low. For instance, in the transplant clinics in Bucharest the refusal rate is lower than 20%. It seems that the problem is that the diagnosis of cerebral death has been established in only a small number of...
